Obituary of Mary Gamba

Mary Gamba 91, of Vineland passed away on Sunday, August 31 with her family by her side. She died peacefully to be home with the Lord. She was born on October 8, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pa but lived in Vineland for 79 years. Mary was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and worked for 40 years with DeRossi & Sons Clothing Company, along with Model Coat (Dan Barse Clothing). She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Germaine (Lesueur) Gamba. Mary is predeceased by her brother Frank and sisters: Jackie and Anne Gamba. She is survived by two sisters, Germaine and Joann (Butch) Saul; loving nephews Vincent (Doris), Stephen (Katie), Kenneth (Stephanie) and Douglas (Stacey) Saul, and seven great nephews & nieces, along with many loving friends. Mary was an Angel in her life who loved to cook take care of everyone. She will be best remembered for her meatballs and spaghetti and home made gnocchi. Mary loved to dance, with her favorites being the mummers strut and the chicken dance. She was a gem that no one here on earth could ever take her place.
