Obituary of Theresa Caterina

Theresa " Terry" M. (Owens) Caterina, 75, of Vineland, passed away on September 5th, 2014, late Friday evening. She was born in Philadelphia to Thomas and Agnes (McCall) Owens on June 10th, 1939. She went to high school in Vineland and worked for Pro Photo for a few years and then spent the rest of her time as a housewife. Her passion was golfing; she loved playing in the leagues at Buena and Pineland. She was a social butterfly, always making plans with friends and family for the weekends. Theresa was blessed to have a large family and is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas A Caterina; son Thomas Jr and wife Barbara; son Brian and wife Sherri; daughter Tracy Polo and her companion Dennis Hatch; nine grandchildren Ashley, Corey, Nicole, Valerie, Peter, Tyler, Victoria, Samantha, and Amber; five great grandchildren Caleb, Aaron, Nasiar, Riyanna, and Kaden; sister Patricia Putnam and husband Richard; and sister-in-law Beverly Carastro. Theresa is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Agnes Owens; Sisters Evelyn and Mary Ann; and mother-in-law Mamie Caterina. Funeral home visitations will be on Tuesday evening, September 9th from 6pm to 8pm and again on Wednesday morning September 10th from 9:30am to 10:30am at Rone Funeral Service 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at 11am from Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.
