Obituary of Helen Kanner

Helen Kanner 88, of Vineland, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Podhajce, Poland, she was a longtime Vineland resident. Helen was a Holocaust survivor, and her remembrance video is used as a teaching tool that is viewed each year in Atlanta High School. She was a member of the Sons of Jacob Congregation in Vineland, a life long member of Hadassah, and a member of the Hebrew Womans Benevolent Society. Helen is survived by her sons and their wives; Meni and Malina Kanner of Seminole, FL. Edward and Nancy Kanner of Atlanta GA., and her daughter and her husband Phyllis and Steve Zenda of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Grandchildren Daniel Kanner, Laurie Satinoff, Zachary Zenda, and Tyler Zenda. Her great-grandchildren: Ari and Ben Satinoff, and Ryan and David Kanner. Helen is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Mayer and Ella Kanner, together with many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, December 8 at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ.Burial will be in Alliance Cemetery, Norma, NJ.
