Obituary of Eleanor Robinson

Eleanor Siciliano Robinson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 20th after an extended illness. Eleanor was a longtime resident of Newfield, NJ who was born and raised in Landisville, NJ. She graduated from Vineland High School in 1953 and as a young lady spent a lot of time in beauty pageants, and was a baton twirler. She was married in 1956 and traveled the world before settling down to raise her two children. While she was a devoted mother, she also dedicated her time volunteering and working as a passionate teacher for many years where she touched thousands of student's lives. Eleanor, despite her already fulfilled life, continued her own education and received her BA Degree on the same year her daughter welcomed her first grandchild. She then went on to welcome three more grandchildren who she centered her world around. Eleanor is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Sandra and Anthony Trommello, her sister, Anna Downey, her brother and sister in-law- Ed and Judy Siciliano, four grandchildren, Dr. Amanda Trommello Lukof and her husband Matt, Nicole Trommello Osinski and her husband Brett, Anthony J. Trommello, and Stephanie Trommello, and many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her son Michael Robinson, her sister Rose Martinelli and her brothers, Anthony Siciliano, Dominic "Brassie" Siciliano, Gaetano "Gus" Siciliano, Joseph Siciliano, Albert Siciliano as well as her parents, Rose Gruccio Siciliano and Gaetano Siciliano. A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rone Funeral Service A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of Saint Rose Of Lima, 104 Catawba Avenue, Newfield.
